MIRIAM EMERTON
Miriam is an artist and designer now residing in rural Stirlingshire, Scotland. After some time away from her art she realised that she really just wanted to get back making her own work again so in 2014 she started exploring ways to make a living doing what she loved. Since then Miriam has continued to paint and create as time and life has allowed. She is inspired by the landscapes she is surrounded by in Scotland. In her work Miriam loves that particular landscapes, their forms and shapes stay in our memory and can bring us right back to a significant time and place. In her work Miriam focuses on capturing those feelings and responses that a landscape evokes. As well as original paintings, she also sells a range of cards, prints and jewellery made using images from her work.
